At the 22nd session held on April 29, the Hanoi People's Council approved the plan to reorganize commune-level administrative units (ADUs) in the city.
Accordingly, after the arrangement, Hanoi will have 126 communes and wards, a reduction of 400 communes and wards compared to before the arrangement.
According to the Resolution of the Hanoi People's Council, the average number of cadres and civil servants at 126 grassroots-level administrative units formed after the arrangement of administrative units is 59 people/ADUHC.
According to the plan, Cau Giay ward was established on the basis of merging most of the natural area and population of the wards: Dich Vong, Dich Vong Hau (belonging to Cau Giay district); part of the natural area and population of the wards: Quan Hoa, Yen Hoa (belonging to Cau Giay district); My Dinh 1, My Dinh 2 (belonging to Nam Tu Liem district).
Cau Giay ward has a natural area of 3.74 km2 with a population of 74,516 people.
It is expected that the headquarters of the Cau Giay Ward Administrative Center will be located at the current headquarters of the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Cau Giay District (Dich Vong Hau Ward). This headquarters was inaugurated and put into use from September 28, 2024, after more than 3 years of construction.
This is a typical project of Cau Giay District to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of the Capital (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024).
The working office of the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee of Cau Giay District has 185 functional rooms, meeting the working requirements for 603 cadres, civil servants and public employees; 1 hall with a capacity of 370 people, 1 hall with a capacity of 175 people equipped with LED screens to ensure well serving the activities of the District Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - District Fatherland Front Committee; 9 online meeting rooms for the district's meeting as well as implementing online conference programs to ensure connection with the city and the ward, meeting the requirements of direction, administration and performance of tasks.
The district has created a beautiful and spacious space to arrange the Hanoi Public Administration Service Center ( branch No. 2) with synchronously invested and modern facilities, improving the quality of service to the people.
Outdoor technical infrastructure and auxiliary items for synchronous investment include: Solar power system, trees, landscape, gate, internal road, fence, guard house; yard area, internal road 7,414m2, green area, grassland area 5,230m2.
