The largest industrial park in the border area is gradually taking shape
The VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park Project (VSIP Industrial Park) is deployed on an area of about 600 hectares in Huu Lung district (Lang Son). With a total capital of more than VND 6,300 billion, this is the industrial park with the largest investment scale in the province.
The project investor is Vietnam Singapore Urban and Industrial Park Development Joint Stock Company, which started construction in June 2024. The implementation process is divided into 3 phases, completed in the third quarter of 2025, 2026 and 2027, respectively. When completed, VSIP Industrial Park is expected to create more than 40,000 jobs for workers.
According to PV's records in February 2025, the VSIP IP project is in the process of leveling and creating a flat surface. At the construction site, machinery, mechanical equipment and vehicles have been gathered and are ready to deploy and carry out construction.
Talking to reporters of Lao Dong Newspaper, Mr. Nguyen Quoc Thang - Vice Chairman of Huu Lung District People's Committee said that the project is currently in phase 1, with 80/200ha cleared, reaching 40%.
When the industrial park comes into operation, it will help increase the value of industrial production and export of goods in the province. At the same time, it creates jobs and income for local workers, thereby helping the province develop the economy quickly and sustainably.

In addition to VSIP Lang Son Industrial Park, in Huu Lung district, another industrial project is also being accelerated. That is Ho Son 1 Industrial Cluster, with a total investment of VND 814 billion, invested by Gia Dinh Northern Industrial Investment Joint Stock Company.
The project started in May 2024, deployed on more than 73 hectares in Cai Kinh and Ho Son communes. Thanks to its location near National Highway 1A, Bac Giang - Lang Son Expressway and major industrial centers of Thai Nguyen and Bac Giang, Ho Son 1 Industrial Park has a great advantage in connecting trade.
Recorded at the time of February 2025, after nearly a year of construction, the project is gradually taking shape. At the construction site, contractors continue to level and transport soil to create a flat surface, and at the same time deploy the drainage underground bridge project.
According to a leader of Huu Lung District People's Committee, the Ho Son 1 Industrial Park project is in the site clearance phase and has basically been completed. It is expected to be completed in 2025.
When put into operation, this industrial cluster can attract more than 20 investment industries, creating jobs for about 6,500 workers, thereby promoting economic development and increasing income for local people.
