On October 12, according to the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, since the beginning of the year, the whole province has 2 social housing projects being implemented with a total scale of 3,809 apartments; at the same time, 2 new projects with a scale of 3,709 apartments were started.
It is expected that by the end of 2025, the number of apartments completed and started to basically reach 100% of the plan; the number of apartments completed in the year alone is 2,181 units, equivalent to 76.63% of the assigned target (2,846 units).
To achieve this goal, Khanh Hoa has proactively arranged land funds in zoning plans, detailed planning and requested investors of commercial housing projects and urban areas to reserve appropriate land funds to develop social housing in accordance with legal regulations.
At the same time, the province is implementing many support mechanisms and policies to shorten the time to carry out investment procedures.
Notably, it is worth noting the application of Resolution No. 201 (dated May 29, 2025) of the National Assembly on piloting specific mechanisms and policies for the development of social housing and Decree No. 192 (dated July 1, 2025) of the Government detailing the implementation of this Resolution.
According to the investment incentive list, Khanh Hoa currently has 6 social housing projects with a total scale of more than 5,389 apartments.
Of which, 4 projects have been approved for investment policy and assigned investors; 1 project has been approved for investment policy; 1 project has been approved for investment policy adjustment and the investor has been approved.
Accelerating the progress of projects and completing synchronous technical and social infrastructure is considered a key solution to help Khanh Hoa meet the housing needs of low-income people, workers and laborers in the area in the coming period.
