The project to extend the Ben Thanh - Suoi Tien Metro line to the Provincial Political - Administrative Center and Long Thanh airport is a particularly important project of Dong Nai province.
The project starts from S0 station in Tan Van, follows the planned route, crosses the Dong Nai River and goes along National Highway 1, connecting to SC station of the new administrative center. Then, the route follows the planned corridor of the Bien Hoa - Long Thanh railway line, along DT. 771, cutting through the Ho Chi Minh City - Long Thanh expressway, connecting to SA station and then according to the planned corridor for railway lines entering Long Thanh airport, total length of the route is about 41.4 km.
Preliminary total investment is about 60,261.8 billion VND (of which compensation and resettlement support costs are about 4,323.2 billion VND).
Implementation time from 2025-2029.
The project passes through many key areas, with a total land use area expected to be about 192.5ha. When completed, this metro line will help strengthen inter-regional connectivity, especially with Long Thanh airport, opening up room for urban, commercial and service development in a modern direction.
