On August 19, in Dong Hoi ward, Phu Ninh Joint Stock Company (PNC) held a groundbreaking ceremony for Phu Ninh Resort, a high-end resort project with a scale of nearly 800 billion VND.
Phu Ninh resort is built on an area of over 20,000 m2, including 250 5-star hotel rooms, 8 luxury villas, a 500-seat conference center with an additional service system such as spa, children's playground and a chain of restaurants. When completed, the project will meet the accommodation, conference and resort needs of thousands of domestic and foreign tourists.
The investor PNC is a member of Da Nang International Terminal Investment and Exploitation Joint Stock Company (AHT), the operator of Da Nang International Terminal - the first 5-star Skytrax air terminal in Vietnam. The project also has the strategic support of Taseco Group, a group that has successfully developed the A La Carte hotel chain in Da Nang and Ha Long.
Mr. Hoang Viet Ha - Director of PNC - affirmed: "Phu Ninh Resort will not only be a luxurious destination but also a new symbol of Quang Tri tourism. We are committed to implementing on schedule, meeting international standards and bringing sustainable values to the community.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Quang Tri province Le Duc Tien emphasized: "The project is a clear demonstration of the efforts to make tourism a spearhead economic sector. The province is committed to accompanying and creating favorable conditions for the project to be completed soon, contributing to changing the face of Quang Tri sea tourism".
On this occasion, AHT presented the People's Committee of Quang Tri province with 1 billion VND to support the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses; PNC also presented the People's Committee of Dong Hoi ward with 10 umbrellas and 20 beach chairs to contribute to improving the landscape and serving community activities.
Phu Ninh resort is expected to become a new highlight on Bao Ninh peninsula, connecting a chain of high-end resort tourism services with spiritual and historical tourism, creating development momentum for Quang Tri tourism in the new period.
