On December 17, more than 400 social housing apartments - Block B of the Residential and Resettlement Area Project in Phuoc Tan Ward, Dong Nai Province were started.
Block B includes 12 floors above ground and 1 basement, with a scale of 416 apartments, a total investment of 268 billion VND, the construction time is expected to be 1 year.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Ho Van Ha - Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee said that the social housing apartments of the Residential and Resettlement Area Project in Phuoc Tan ward have "close in" with commercial housing.
According to Mr. Ha, Dong Nai is an area with many enterprises and companies in industrial parks, where workers are the resources and assets of the company. "We need to respect and shorten the time for workers to soon have social housing, which is to increase added value for the company" - Mr. Ha said.

Vice Chairman of Dong Nai Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Ha suggested that the Department of Construction continue to launch the movement to build social housing more rapidly; from now until the end of the year, continue to start construction of 3 more social housing projects; in early 2026, continue to start construction of at least 6 social housing projects, contributing to the target of 66,000 social housing units in Dong Nai province. "How to reduce boarding houses and replace them with social housing for workers" - Mr. Ha shared.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Hai - Director of An Hung Phat Infrastructure Development Joint Stock Company (investor) said: When completed, the social housing project - Block B will provide stable, convenient, and safe housing for cadres, civil servants, low-income people, and households that are cleared in projects whose land is reclaimed by the state, and industrial park workers.
The investor's representative said that they strive to build the project to achieve the 3 best: Best quality, cheapest price, fastest construction time.

On the same day, December 17, the investor held a house handover ceremony for the first citizens in block A. 275 social housing units in block A, part of the Residential Area and Resettlement Project in Phuoc Tan Ward, have been confirmed by the Department of Construction to be eligible for sale from September 2025. The selling price of apartments in this project is more than 19 million VND/m2, including maintenance fees and kitchen furniture.
The Residential and Resettlement Area Project in Phuoc Tan Ward, Dong Nai Province has a total area of nearly 50 hectares. Of which, the 20% land fund for social housing has an area of nearly 4 hectares, with a scale of more than 1,100 apartments.
