On June 3, news from Da Nang City People's Committee said that the city has issued Decision 79/2026/QD-UBND on promulgating the framework price for social housing and worker accommodation in industrial parks in Da Nang city.
The subjects of application include organizations and individuals participating in investing in building social housing; organizations participating in investing in building worker dormitories in industrial parks; Households and individuals renting social housing; organizations and individuals renting worker dormitories in industrial parks; State management agencies and related organizations.
The social housing and worker dormitory rental price framework in industrial parks in the city includes: Social housing rental price framework invested and built without public investment capital, trade union financial resources; Social housing rental price framework invested and built by individuals themselves; Worker dormitory rental price framework in industrial parks.
The Department of Construction, the management boards of economic zones, high-tech zones and industrial parks, together with the People's Committees of wards, communes, and special zones, are responsible for guiding and inspecting the implementation of the rental price framework according to regulations.
Investors, organizations, and individuals leasing social housing and worker dormitories must determine rental prices in accordance with the promulgated price framework.
For contracts signed before the decision takes effect, the parties shall comply with the signed agreement and consider adjustments when necessary; newly signed contracts must be applied according to the new price framework.
This decision takes effect from June 10, 2026 and replaces Decision No. 50/2024/QD-UBND dated October 15, 2024 of Da Nang City People's Committee (before the merger) regulating the framework price for social housing and worker accommodation in industrial parks in Da Nang city.
