On May 13, Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee said that Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Hong Hai has signed a decision assigning Rang Dong Joint Stock Company to be the investor of the Song Binh Industrial Park Social Housing project in Luong Son commune.
This is one of the key social housing projects of the province. The project is expected to contribute to solving the housing needs of workers and laborers working in Song Binh Industrial Park.
The project is located along National Highway 28B, near the Vinh Hao - Phan Thiet expressway, so it is convenient for travel and infrastructure connection. Previously, the project had been approved for investment policy by the Provincial People's Committee.
After the process of appraising dossiers and completing relevant procedures, the locality officially assigned the investor to implement it.
According to the plan, the project has an area of about 14.8ha, building social housing for rent, non-selling, serving officials, employees and workers working in the industrial park.

The project includes many items such as social housing area, service operating house, market, cultural house, health station, kindergarten, sports field, green park and technical infrastructure and internal traffic system.
It is expected that the project will provide 762 social housing units for rent with areas from 25 - 70m2/unit. The project implementation time is 39 months.
According to the People's Committee of Lam Dong province, the development of social housing is becoming an urgent requirement in the context of the increasing number of workers in industrial parks.
Many workers are still having to rent spontaneous rooms, living conditions are still limited, affecting their lives and long-term working process.
Lam Dong province sets a target to complete 2,184 social housing units in 2026. Currently, the whole province has 6 social housing projects that are being focused on accelerating construction progress.
Promoting projects not only contributes to completing the set goals but also helps workers and laborers have stable housing and feel secure in sticking with businesses and localities.
