On August 7, according to Lao Dong, the People's Committee of Lang Son province has just issued a document requesting departments, branches and authorities at the commune and ward levels to strengthen coordination and synchronously deploy tax management solutions for households and individuals renting houses, offices, and providing accommodation services in the province.
According to the direction of the Provincial People's Committee, this move aims to strictly implement the direction from the Tax Department in Official Dispatch No. 2688/CT-KTr dated July 25, 2025, ensuring correct and sufficient collection of tax sources arising from real estate leasing activities, while raising people's awareness of tax law compliance.
Lang Son Provincial Tax Department was assigned to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to review and update the complete list of households and individuals renting houses, offices, and accommodation facilities throughout the province. At the same time, tax authorities must share business household digital maps with localities to serve the inspection and determination of revenue and tax rates, thereby urging people to declare and pay taxes in accordance with regulations.
In addition, the Tax Department is also responsible for organizing regular propaganda on tax policies and laws in diverse forms so that people can easily access, understand and fulfill tax obligations.
The People's Committee of Lang Son province requires the Provincial Police, the Department of Construction and the Department of Science and Technology to closely coordinate with the tax sector in sharing and connecting databases related to households and individuals renting houses and offices.
Synchronizing and standardizing data will help the tax sector grasp the actual business operations, thereby effectively managing and avoiding budget losses.
The commune and ward authorities are assigned the task of coordinating in providing information about households and individuals renting houses in the area; supporting propaganda and mobilizing people to strictly implement tax regulations.
The inspection and supervision of the rental situation will also be conducted more regularly, with close coordination between localities and tax authorities.
