CAO NGUYÊN |

The Prime Minister requested the connection of administrative procedures (APs) on investment and construction, ensuring efficiency and reducing costs for people and businesses.

In recent times, the Government has issued many Resolutions and documents directing drastic, timely and effective reform of administrative procedures.

Some ministries and branches have coordinated with localities to step up reviewing, cutting and simplifying administrative procedures in the construction sector and achieve some good results.

However, according to people and businesses, the implementation time of some construction investment projects is still long, through many TTHCs, the cost of complying with TTHC is still high.

To reform administrative procedures in the construction sector more strongly, substantially and drastically, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh signed Official Dispatch No. 78/CD-TTg on focusing on cutting and simplifying administrative procedures in the construction sector.

The Prime Minister requested the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities to organize the implementation of administrative procedures under their authority to resolve them, ensuring stability, continuity, smoothness, efficiency, and no interruption in decentralization, arrangement of administrative units, and implementation of the model of organizing local governments at 02 levels.

At the same time, proactively research and organize the implementation of interconnection according to the authority of administrative units related to construction investment activities, ensuring efficiency, reducing procedures, time and costs for implementing administrative procedures for people and businesses.

In addition, the People's Committees of provinces and centrally run cities proactively monitor and inspect according to their authority the compliance with the law on construction investment of entities participating in construction investment activities.

Ensure state management, social order and safety when implementing the shift from pre-inspection to post-inspection and decentralization of authority to handle administrative procedures.
