The project of leveling the ground and building technical infrastructure for land plots SX1, SX2 belonging to Kim Thanh - Ban Vuoc logistics area is being implemented to serve the site clearance of the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line construction investment project.
The project was approved by the Provincial People's Committee with a total investment of 106.4 billion VND from the central budget.
The project has a scale of about 19ha, including items such as leveling the ground, building an internal traffic road system, installing electricity supply and drainage systems, and other essential infrastructure.
Truong Son Construction Corporation is the construction unit, the expected implementation time of the package is 135 days, from August to December 2025.
According to the report, the SX1, SX2 area project has a total recovered area of 19.2ha of 33 households and 1 organization. Households subject to relocation are allocated 19 resettlement land plots in resettlement area No. 1, Quang Kim commune.
To date, functional agencies have completed the approval of compensation plans for 100% of subjects, with a total budget of more than 26.4 billion VND.
Recorded by reporters on March 9, the area of the SX1, SX2 Zone project has basically had clean ground, and many areas have been handed over to serve the next implementation steps.
Some households said that the compensation payment was carried out publicly and transparently, so people agreed to hand over land.
Mr. Nguyen Quang Duong (resident of Bat Xat commune) shared: "Many households have received compensation money according to the government's plan and handed over land. We hope industrial projects will be implemented soon so that the area can develop and become more vibrant.
For the Ban Qua Area project, the total area to be recovered is 74.16ha, mainly rice and rubber land, involving 270 households and 3 organizations. The project is expected to arrange resettlement for about 54 households and relocate 217 graves.
To date, functional agencies have approved compensation plans for 153 households and 2 organizations, reaching 63.91% of the recovered area, equivalent to 47.4ha. The total compensation cost has been paid more than 71.7 billion VND.
The project includes ground leveling, roads, power supply and drainage systems, and related technical items. Thereby, it aims to allocate land fund to relocate 34 production facilities from Dong Pho Moi Industrial Park, Lao Cai ward to a new location.
The project is designed in accordance with construction standards and regulations, in accordance with the approved plan, ensuring technical and artistic requirements. The total investment of the project is more than 500 billion VND from the State budget, and the expected construction time is 300 days.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Chairman of Bat Xat Commune People's Committee, relevant units need to focus on accelerating the progress of site clearance to serve the investment in the Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong railway line.
Along with that, the implementation must be carried out according to the motto of clear people, clear tasks, clear responsibilities; proactively coordinate to remove obstacles in legal dossiers, and at the same time strengthen dialogue with people to create consensus.
The compensation payment must ensure compliance with the provisions of the Land Law, publicity, and transparency, thereby soon completing site clearance and handing over the site on schedule for the project.
