The Hanoi Department of Construction has just announced a plan to receive applications for purchasing social housing (rental units converted to sale) at the Social Housing Project at plot 5.B2 of Dong Hoi Resettlement Area, Dong Anh Commune (phase 1).
The project is invested and built by Thang Long Company Limited in Dong Hoi Residential Area. The land plot has an area of 4,549 m2, of which about 757 m2 is outside the red line; the construction area is about 1,628 m2.
The project includes an average of 30-storey apartment building (excluding 2 basements), with a total of 504 social housing apartments, with a floor area of about 32,816 m2. Of these, 405 apartments are for sale (accounting for 80.36%) and 99 apartments are for rent (accounting for 19.6%).
In the first phase, the investor opened for sale 88 apartments that had been rented out for 5 years, with an area of 57.83m2 to 67.52m2.
The time for receiving documents is from December 1, 2025 to January 12, 2026 (except for Saturdays and Sundays). Morning from 8:30 - 11:30, afternoon from 13:30 - 16:30.
Notably, not everyone is allowed to submit documents to buy social housing in this project. The subjects submitting the application in the first phase are customers who are renting social housing in the project and have completed 5 years of lease.
The selling price of social housing (including VAT, excluding maintenance fees) is 15,136,923 VND/m2; maintenance fee 288,322 VND/m2. The rental price of social housing (including VAT) is 66,617 VND/m2.
The only received documents are at: 6th Floor, Eurowindow Holding Building, No. 2 Ton That Tung, Kim Lien Ward, Hanoi.
The Hanoi Department of Construction noted that investors only receive documents at the above location; the person submitting the application must directly submit the documents, sign the receipt and register the wish for the apartment area. The city strictly prohibits organizations and individuals from taking advantage of social housing policies to collect money and receive deposits in violation of regulations.
People are advised not to transfer social housing in violation of regulations and not to submit home purchase documents at locations not announced by the investor on the website of the Hanoi Department of Construction.
