On September 23, according to information from the People's Committee of Cua Ong Ward, after the meeting on September 22, 2025, households with recovered land areas to implement the Quang Ninh LNG Power Plant Project agreed and signed the handover of land to implement the project with a total area of nearly 32 hectares.
Along with the area of over 1.7ha that had been cleared before, the People's Committee of Cua Ong Ward completed the clearance of nearly 34ha and handed it over to the Management Board of Investment and Construction Projects of Area II to implement the next steps.

The Quang Ninh LNG Power Plant project is located in Cua Ong ward, Quang Ninh province, invested by the Joint Venture of Vietnam Oil and Gas Power Corporation (PV Power) - Vietnam Mechanical and Installation Joint Stock Company and Tokyo Gas Co., Ltd - Marubeni Corporation... with a total capital of about 2.2 billion USD.

The Quang Ninh LNG Power Plant project has a total planned area of nearly 110 hectares, including 68.7 hectares of sea surface and more than 41 hectares of land acquisition. Of which, phase I of the project has a reclaimed area of over 25.4 hectares, affecting 8 households and 2 organizations. Currently, all 8 households have signed a compensation plan and agreed to hand over the site with a total area of 22.88 hectares.
Phase II of the project has a reclaimed area of 15.7 hectares, affecting 5 households and 4 organizations. Currently, all 5 households have agreed to hand over the land with a total area of 9.1 hectares.
For the area related to organizations, the People's Committee of the ward is completing the land acquisition procedures according to the progress directed by the province.
