Apartments over 120 million VND/m2 face selling pressure
In Q2/2026, One Mount Group Market Research & Customer Understanding Center said that under the impact of the macroeconomic context, market demand in Q2/2026 showed signs of slowing down compared to the previous quarter.
In Hanoi, the market consumed 7,100 apartments, down 3% quarter-on-quarter and down 8% year-on-year. The absorption rate in the quarter reached 50%, down 18 percentage points compared to the same period in 2025. Hanoi proposes to abolish regulations on renovating old apartment buildings after nearly 18 years
Hanoi Department of Construction is submitting to the City People's Committee for promulgation a decision to abolish the entire Decision No. 48/2008/QD-UBND on the Regulation on renovation and reconstruction of old, damaged and degraded apartment buildings in the area.
According to the Hanoi Department of Construction, after nearly 18 years of implementation, Decision No. 48/2008/QD-UBND is no longer consistent with the current legal system when many contents have been replaced and updated in the 2023 Housing Law and guiding documents for implementation. Da Nang resolves land money issues for resettled people before August 1, 2024
According to the newly issued decision, Da Nang applies different land price adjustment coefficients depending on the location and planning of each residential area.
