According to a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper on December 4, many people living in Giang Vo ward are rushing to move their belongings and assets to hand over the site for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section.
According to the announcement of Giang Vo ward, no later than December 5, households subject to site clearance have received money, and resettlement houses must complete the relocation of assets to hand over the site to the project.
Ms. Pham Thi Loan (renting a store on De La Thanh street) said that immediately after receiving the notice from the ward, she proactively liquidated, cleaned up goods and rented a new business location.
"We are urgently moving some remaining goods and furniture to a new location, expected to be completed on December 4," said Ms. Loan.




According to public opinion, most households subject to site clearance for the Ring Road 1 project agree and support the State's policies and guidelines for the project.
Most of the households have moved to new residences and handed over the construction to the investor to carry out the demolition to implement the Ring Road 1 project.
According to the direction of Politburo member and Secretary of the Hanoi Party Committee Nguyen Duy Ngoc, by December 15, O Cho Dua, Giang Vo and Lang wards must complete all site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project.



In Giang Vo ward, the local government has launched a 20-day and night "campaign" determined to complete site clearance with a total area of 40,015m2 of land, related to 795 households in the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section.
Recently, Giang Vo ward has reviewed all cases that have not yet handed over the site, especially households that have approved the plan, received money, received houses but have not yet handed over; clarified the problems and reasons for households not to hand over; combined with continuing to propagate and mobilize households to receive money, receive houses and hand over the site in accordance with regulations.
Notably, the ward will implement necessary enforcement measures (stop supplying electricity, water, corrugated iron fences, etc.) for households that deliberately do not comply with the handover of the site and complete legal documents, establish administrative handling records, and enforce to reclaim the site in case of necessity to ensure compliance with regulations.
In Lang ward, the ward is divided into 3 working groups, mobilizing all forces to participate, sticking to the scene regardless of holidays or weekends, with the determination to completely complete the recovery of all land of 597 households (30,047m2 of land) subject to site clearance for the Ring Road 1 project before December 15.
In O Cho Dua ward, the total land area recovered for the project is 29,745m2, involving 591 households.
O Cho Dua ward is also actively implementing synchronous solutions, ensuring the completion of project site clearance according to the city's schedule.

On December 3, Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee Duong Duc Tuan signed and issued a document agreeing to the policy of arranging social housing for households in O Cho Dua, Lang, and Giang Vo wards when the State reclaims land to implement the Ring Road 1 construction project (Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section).
The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to preside over and guide the People's Committees of O Cho Dua, Lang, Giang Vo wards and related units to implement according to authority and regulations; ensure the progress of completing the project's site clearance work according to direction.
