Hanoi - Giang Vo Ward has cut off electricity, water and corrugated iron fences for 138/144 households that do not hand over the site for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section.

The project to build Ring Road 1, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section (old Dong Da district, now O Cho Dua ward, Lang, Giang Vo) is more than 2.2 km long, with a cross-section of 50 m. The starting point intersects with Cat Linh - La Thanh - Yen Lang road at Hoang Cau, the end point is at Voi Phuc intersection.

The project has a total investment of more than 7,200 billion VND from the city budget. The project was approved in December 2017, expected to be completed in 2020, but behind schedule. The reason is due to difficulties in site clearance (GPMB).

Regarding the site clearance work for the Ring Road 1 project, Chairman of the People's Committee of O Cho Dua Ward Le Tuan Dinh said that up to now, the ward has approved 591/591 plans 100%). Arrange to resettle 292 apartments for 213 households; hand over the site for 443 plans, reaching 75%.

Currently, there are 148/591 plans that have not been handed over, an increase of 267 plans compared to July 1, 2025. Through the mobilization, up to now, 28/148 plans have committed to handing over before November 28.

The ward has developed a plan to enforce the handover of the site to the City Civil Works Construction Investment Project Management Board for 120 completed plans before December 15, 2025.

In Lang ward, the total land area within the project's GPMB boundary is about 30,047m2 of land. A total of 597 plans for land acquisition have been approved, of which 564 have been approved.

Before the merger, 118/597 plans had handed over the site; 479/597 plans had not yet handed over the site. After the merger, the site was mobilized and reclaimed, and a record of site handover waiting for the investor to demolish it was signed, bringing the total number of plans that had been handed over to the site to 243/597 plans (reaching 40.7%).

As for Giang Vo ward, Party Committee Secretary, Chairman of the People's Council of Tong Hoc Nghia ward informed that the government has approved a total of 794/795 plans. 477/795 plans have been handed over the site, while 318/795 plans have not yet handed over the site, of which 144 households have received money and houses but have not yet handed over; the Ward People's Committee has cut off electricity, water and corrugated iron fences for 138/144 households that have not handed over; 174 households have not received money and resettlement houses (there has been a decision to sell resettlement houses from the Department of Construction).

At the working session with the Standing Committees of the Party Committees of the wards: O Cho Dua, Giang Vo, this afternoon (November 27), Mr. Duong Duc Tuan - Permanent Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee proposed that for the Ring Road 1 project, Hoang Cau - Voi Phuc section must complete site clearance before December 15, 2025. Ward leaders must concentrate highly to ensure the set progress.
