While the Ministry of Health is focusing on completing the project of facility 2 of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital and Bach Mai Hospital in Liem Tuyen Ward (Ninh Binh) on schedule (to be put into operation before November 30, 2025), the work of preparing accommodation for staff and employees working at these two hospitals is also being actively implemented by Ninh Binh province.
The social housing project for officers and doctors working at facilities 2 of Bach Mai Hospital and Viet Duc Friendship Hospital has a total construction area of nearly 4,000m2, in Liem Tuyen ward, with a total investment of more than 400 billion VND.
The scale of the project includes 3 10-storey buildings, expected to provide about 650 modern, comfortable apartments. Currently, Ninh Binh province is focusing resources and directing contractors to speed up the progress to complete the project in early 2026.
Mr. Tran Anh Dung - Vice Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee said that investing in the construction of this social housing area not only helps solve the urgent housing needs of medical staff but is also a practical step to attract and retain high-quality human resources in the local health sector.
This is a testament to the active participation of Ninh Binh provincial government in accompanying central hospitals located in the area.
According to the plan, the housing area for staff and doctors of Bach Mai Hospital, Facility 2, has an area of 175,472.89m2, with a population of about 3,500 people. This land belongs to the 1/2,000 scale zoning plan of the regional high-quality medical center, located in Liem Tuyen ward.
The project consists of 2 subdivisions. Of which, the low-rise residential land has 531 plots with an area of 115.5 - 138.1m2/plot; 2 mixed-use housing areas with about 20 floors.
The Housing Project for Officers, Doctors, and Workers of Viet Duc Friendship Hospital belongs to the Nam Chau Giang urban area planning, Liem Chinh ward, Phu Ly city (now Liem Tuyen ward), with an area of 53,483m2. The project scale includes 531 plots of land with an area of 115.5 - 138.1m2/plot and 2 plots of mixed-use residential land (average 20 floors).
