The social housing project serving workers in Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park (Quang Ha commune, Quang Ninh) phase 1 has a total investment of 638 billion VND.
The scale of the project is 6 6-storey apartment buildings, about 700 apartments, accommodating about 1,500 workers.
The total construction floor area is more than 53,000m2 on the land of nearly 3.5ha. In the immediate future, the investor will implement a part of phase 1 with 244 apartments, each with an area of 4287m2, capable of meeting the housing needs of about 700 people.
Hai Ha Seaport Industrial Park was established in 2014 and currently has about 14,000 workers. In response to the urgent need for housing, Quang Ninh province has directed departments, branches and localities to coordinate with investors to speed up the project.
The project's groundbreaking not only solves the housing needs of workers, but also has profound socio-economic significance, contributing to realizing the Party and State's policy on developing social housing, affirming the orientation of developing industrial parks sustainably linked to urban areas, services and social infrastructure, placing workers at the center.
