On January 25, information from the People's Committee of Bac Nha Trang ward (Khanh Hoa province) said that the locality is coordinating to collect opinions from individuals, organizations and residential communities on the zoning plan (scale 1/2,000) of the Co Tien mountain area.
Accordingly, professional departments and boards coordinate to post information, list planning documents and opinion forms at the Ward People's Committee headquarters, on the ward's electronic information portal.
Heads of residential groups widely inform the residential community in the planning area and distribute opinions to relevant individuals and organizations.
The Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs is assigned to preside over the posting of zoning planning documents and voting slips at the People's Committee of Bac Nha Trang ward, the headquarters of the People's Committee of Vinh Luong commune (old), and cultural houses of villages in the planning area.
At the same time, notify individuals, organizations, and residential communities about seeking opinions on the planning map.
After receiving people's contributions, relevant units compiled forms and transferred them to the Department of Economy, Infrastructure and Urban Affairs to make a list. The time to collect community opinions is 20 days.
The area for planning the subdivision of Co Tien mountain area, Bac Nha Trang ward has a total research area of 1,309.3ha.
In which, the planning boundary is about 551.5ha. The remaining area of 757.8ha is hilly land and forestry land to connect and cover the sub-area planning.
The population size of this area is expected to be about 12,600 people by 2030, and about 16,100 people by 2040.
The goal of the plan is to develop service areas and mountain eco-tourism to exploit the unique landscape values of the old city of Nha Trang.
Organize thematic park spaces, experiential public parks, mountain climbing to see the sea, arrange public sightseeing spots with amenities to serve people and tourists.
The Co Tien mountain area is identified as an existing urban center combining services and coastal tourism.
Regarding land use targets, the residential land group has a scale of nearly 53.4ha, accounting for about 4.05%; mixed housing and service land of about 34.2ha (2.61%); service land of about 18.62ha (1.42%); tourism land of about 200.3ha (15.91%); public green land of about 132.9ha (10.15%); traffic land of about 65ha (4.96%) and other functional land types.
The zoning plan is established on the basis of complying with the project adjusting the general plan of Nha Trang city to 2040 approved by the Prime Minister.
