Planning subdivision of 10 industrial parks in Hai Phong

Hai Phong - 10 industrial parks with a total area of 1,903 ha are being studied and approved for zoning planning by the city.

On January 21, information from the Management Board of Hai Phong City Economic Zone said: In 2025, Hai Phong has completed the approval of zoning planning (planning 1/2000) for 9 industrial parks (IPs) with a total area of about 2,300 ha, and is researching to prepare and approve zoning planning for 10 IPs with a total area of about 1,903 ha.

Accordingly, 10 industrial parks are being studied for zoning planning (planning 1/2000) including: Giang Bien Industrial Park with a research area of 188.51 ha (in Vinh Thuan commune); An Hoa Industrial Park with an area of 199 ha (in Vinh Hoa commune), Cong Hoa 2 Industrial Park with an area of 190 ha (in Tran Hung Dao and Tran Nhan Tong communes), Tu Ky 1 Industrial Park with an area of 115.8 ha (Dai Son commune), Binh Giang 2 Industrial Park with an area of 303 ha (in Thuong Hong and Duong An communes), Binh Giang 3 Industrial Park with an area of 200 ha (Thang Hong and Nguyen Luong Bang communes), Binh Giang 4 Industrial Park with an area of 196 ha (Binh Giang and Nguyen Luong Bang communes), Binh Giang 5 Industrial Park with an area of 115 ha (Binh Giang and Ke Sat communes), Thanh Mien 2 Industrial Park with an area of 200 ha (Hai Hung, Bac Thanh Mien communes) and Thanh Ha Industrial Park of 150 ha (in Ha Dong commune).

In addition, Hai Phong City is also studying and planning 6 new IPs with a total area of about 1,200 ha including: Tam Hung - Ngu Lao IP with an area of about 150 - 170 ha (in Nam Trieu ward), Tam Da IP with an area of about 150 - 180 ha (in Vinh Bao commune), Nam Cau Kien expanded IP with an area of 93 - 113 ha (in Thien Huong ward), An Hung - Dai Ban IP with an area of 220 ha (Hong An ward), Cat Hai Island North IP with an area of 180 - 200 ha (Cat Hai special zone), Tran Duong - Hoa Binh IP with an area of 220 - 230 ha (in Nguyen Binh Khiem and Vinh Am communes).

Previously, in 2025, Hai Phong also completed the approval of zoning planning (planning 1/2000) for 9 industrial parks with a total area of about 2,300 ha including: Tien Lang Airport Industrial Park (Zone A) with an area of 283 ha, Cau Cuu Industrial Park more than 104 ha, Trung Lap Industrial Park more than 498 ha, Tran Duong - Hoa Binh Industrial Park (Zone B) more than 364 ha, Tien Lang 2 Industrial Park more than 416 ha, Nam Sach 1 Industrial Park an area of 100 ha, Thanh Mien 1 Industrial Park an area of 200 ha, Gia Loc 3 Industrial Park an area of 130 ha, Hung Dao Industrial Park an area of 200 ha. These industrial parks have completed the approval of planning, and have invited investors to invest in industrial park infrastructure business projects.

According to the plan, Hai Phong will establish 69 IPs with an area of about 18,900 ha. In which, the eastern area of Hai Phong will establish 37 IPs, and the western area of Hai Phong will establish 32 IPs. To date, the city has established 46 IPs with an area of about 13,09 ha, including 43 IPs established before 2026, and 3 new IPs established at the beginning of 2026. In which, the eastern area has 26 IPs established with an area of about 9,686 ha, and the western area has 20 IPs established with a total area of about 3,366 ha.

Currently, Hai Phong still has 23 IPs with an area of about 5,891 ha that have not been established. These IPs have been and are being studied for zoning planning to gradually complete procedures for establishing IPs to invite investors.

Hai Phong City identifies industrial and technological development as the main pillar, driving force for growth, economic restructuring, attracting investment, creating jobs, and increasing budget revenue, so the city has prioritized the development of IPs, linking IP development with the strategy of urban development, services and economic corridors.
