On the morning of August 19, in Nam Nha Trang ward, Khanh Hoa province, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) officially started construction of the spaceship of training and research of UEH Nexus campus Nha Trang.
With the positioning of a gathering place for global scholars and knowledge, the UEH Nexus campus Nha Trang project is built on a 2.1ha campus in the Bac Hon Ong School, Training and Vocational Training Area, with a total investment of 294 billion VND.
The project is designed with optimal, modern, dynamic, green and sustainable architecture. The training scale of 2,000 students, 90 jobs for staff, lecturers and many areas for research, innovation, community connection, dormitories to accommodate 376 students. The project is expected to be completed and put into operation by the end of 2026.

UEH Japanese campus Nha Trang will carry out 3 main tasks: Training high-quality human resources, meeting the needs of socio-economic development of the region; researching and transferring practical solutions; connecting networks of domestic and foreign scholars, students, and businesses.
In addition toUEH's strengths such as economy, law, logistics, tourism, planning, etc.UEH Nexus campus also focuses on training, research, and international connectivity associated with Khanh Hoa's advantages and the potential of the region such as: sustainable marine economy, marine space planning, ocean technology, microchips, health care and community development, etc.
In particular, the branch will implement an educational cooperation program according to the Cooperative Education ASEAN (UEH ASEAN COOP) model.
Thereby, helping students have the opportunity to study and experience at leading enterprises in the Asian region. At the same time, it increases the ability to integrate into the international working environment, targeting global citizens - local actors - to return.
According to Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dong Phong - Chairman of the Board of UEH, with systematic and modern investment, while closely linked with the local economic - cultural - social characteristics, we believe thatUEH Japanese campus will become a high-quality human resource training center in Nha Trang.
In particular, the training work also focuses on key areas associated with the development of Khanh Hoa province in particular, as well as the South Central Coast and Central Highlands in general.
Speaking at the groundbreaking ceremony, Vice Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Nguyen Long Bien affirmed that the groundbreaking of UEH campus campus Nha Trang is very important for the province in the era of growth. At the same time, it marked a new step forward in cooperation between Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee andUEH in the period of 2023-2028.
This is also one of the steps to prepare for education and high-quality human resources so that the locality can concretize the development orientation to become a centrally-governed city by 2030.
