In the first phase of implementing the work arrangement after the merger, Tuyen Quang province welcomed over 400 officials from the old Ha Giang province to the administrative center for work. The move will be carried out in 4 phases from July 2025 to July 2026.
According to information from the Tuyen Quang Department of Finance, this unit has reviewed and assessed the current status of facilities for many guesthouses and public housing to solve the urgent housing problem. Accordingly, the existing facilities will be fully utilized.
Tuyen Quang province currently has Kim Binh guesthouses, Tan Trao guesthouses, Farmers' Association guesthouses, Trade Union guesthouses, Department of Finance's public housing... all of which meet the accommodation requirements immediately upon merger. In addition, a new public housing area in the old high school campus with a scale of about 60 rooms is expected to be built.

Through the review of Tuyen Quang province, it is shown that the first phase of demand includes 408, of which 324 people registered for official housing, 84 people requested support for house rental. Based on the existing public housing fund, the province has arranged immediate accommodation for about 130 people.
For cases that have not yet arranged public accommodation, Tuyen Quang province will support the cost of renting a house and traveling at 2.5 million VND/person/month.
Mr. Nguyen Manh Tuan - Vice Chairman of Tuyen Quang Provincial People's Committee said that Tuyen Quang province has basically arranged enough workplaces for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers to work after the merger.

Based on actual needs and work requirements, after the merger, Tuyen Quang province will continue to renovate, upgrade, and build a number of new headquarters to ensure adequate workplaces for provincial-level agencies and units to operate effectively.
"With accommodation for cadres, civil servants and public employees subject to relocation, the province has a plan to arrange for the repair and upgrading of some old headquarters to build public housing. Ensure the best facilities and living conditions for cadres and civil servants to work with peace of mind," Mr. Tuan informed.
After the merger, it is expected that nearly 950 cadres, civil servants and public employees (accounting for nearly 50%) from agencies of the old Ha Giang province will move to the administrative center of the new Tuyen Quang province to work. The remaining (more than 1,100 cadres and civil servants) will continue to work in the area to resolve arising work.
