Woman dies while climbing an electric pole and falling to the ground

HCMC - A woman climbed an electric pole, swung a rope and fell to the ground, seriously injured. The victim was taken to the emergency room but died.

On the afternoon of July 4, a representative of Binh Duong General Hospital confirmed that the woman climbed an electric pole and swung a rope to the ground, dying.

The woman climbed the electric pole, moved on the electric wire for about 50 m, then fell to the ground at an altitude of about 6 m and suffered serious injuries. The victim was identified as N.T.H (42 years old, from An Giang province).

Earlier, on the same morning, a clip of a woman showing signs of being unconscious climbed an electric pole was circulated on social media. The woman then swung the wire and moved about 50 meters on the wire.

Discovering the incident, people quickly reported it to the authorities and tried to get the woman down. However, the woman later intended to walk on the electric wire. When he first walked, he lost his balance and fell onto the road and lay motionless.

According to the local electricity agency, this case was a person with unusual signs of mind, arbitrarily climbing an electric pole. The incident occurred at pillar 86C through 86D branch of Rach Lap Phu An (near An Tay market in Tay Nam ward, Ho Chi Minh City).

After receiving news from the people, Ben Cat Power Company requested an emergency power outage on line 475 Tam Giac Sat at 09:00-19-09:40. At the time of the incident, the victim fell himself, was still alive and was taken to Binh Duong General Hospital for emergency treatment by local people. Although he was taken to the emergency room in time, he died due to severe injuries.
