On the afternoon of June 17, speaking with a reporter from Lao Dong Newspaper, a representative of Thanh Hoa Power Company said that the unit had completed handling the incident of a series of power pole breaks in Thanh Hoa City and Trieu Son District.
From the afternoon and night of June 16, Thanh Hoa Power Company has coordinated with Thieu Hoa Power Company to deploy solutions and restore power to most affected customers. By 1:00 p.m. on June 17, all customers had been restored to power" - a representative of Thanh Hoa Power Company informed.
Previously, at around 4:30 p.m. on June 16, heavy rain and thunderstorms swept through Thieu Ly commune (Thien Hoa district) and Dong Hoang commune (Thanh Hoa city), breaking many trees and electric poles.
The incident caused 19 electric poles (9-15m high) of the 22kV line to break, causing local power outages for about 500 customers.
Immediately afterwards, Thanh Hoa Power Company directed the mobilization of forces, urgently approached the scene, inspected and deployed timely remedial measures.
