On January 15, according to information from the Department of Construction of Binh Thuan province, of the 5 projects mentioned above, 3 social housing projects are eligible for sale, lease, hire purchase and have carried out the above transactions. That is the social housing apartment project in Phu Tai ward, Phan Thiet city, including 306 apartments. The project has now been completed and put into use; to date, 100% of the apartments have been completed, sold, and leased.
Phu Thinh social housing apartment complex project consists of 680 apartments. Currently, the number of customers who have been approved by the Department of Construction to be eligible to buy and rent apartments in the project is 552 applications/570 apartments, the remaining number of apartments is 18 unsold and unleased apartments. Social housing project for workers in Ham Kiem 1 Industrial Park in Ham Thuan Nam district, of which phase 1 is eligible to sell and rent 399 apartments (382 apartments have been sold); phase 2 is under construction.
The remaining two projects under implementation are the social housing project for workers in Ham Kiem II Industrial Park with a scale of 5,624 apartments, the investor has just built an apartment complex at Lot B2 (not completed), with a scale of 280 apartments. And the social housing project for workers in Song Binh Industrial Park with a scale of about 762 apartments, currently the investor is completing procedures to implement the project.
Relevant departments and branches are implementing infrastructure construction to call for investment in building social housing in Tien Loi commune, Phan Thiet city with an area of about 4.5 hectares and some social housing land funds in commercial housing projects, investors are preparing to deploy construction.
According to the Department of Construction of Binh Thuan province, social housing and housing for industrial park workers have been approved by the Provincial People's Committee in the province's housing development program and plan, however, the implementation progress is still slow compared to the approved program and plan.
Some projects have been approved for investment but the progress is very slow, not meeting the requirements. Some commercial housing projects (including social housing) have been approved for investment but have not been implemented due to problems related to site clearance, affecting 20% of the land fund for social housing construction.
