On October 1, the Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee issued a decision on reorganizing the Ho Chi Minh City Land Registration Office under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Agriculture and Environment, on the basis of merging the previous Land Registration Offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Binh Duong, Ba Ria - Vung Tau.
The unit has its head office at 12 Phan Dang Luu, Gia Dinh ward; and facility 2 at 321 Phu Loi, Phu Loi ward; facility 3 at 1939 National Highway 55, Long Dien Commune.
In addition, 38 branches of the Land Registration Office were established, each branch is responsible for implementing administrative procedures in the land sector in the area from 2 to 7 communes depending on the unit. The Branch of the Land Registration Office No. 38 is in charge of the Con Dao Special Zone.
The Branches of the Land Registration Office under the City Land Registration Office shall perform the functions, tasks and powers within the corresponding areas assigned to them.
Depending on local conditions and actual situation, the Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment of Ho Chi Minh City shall submit to competent authorities for consideration and decision to adjust the scope of the inter-commune and ward areas under the management of branches, ensuring effective and efficient implementation of the functions and tasks of the unit, serving well the people and businesses.
In Ba Ria - Vung Tau, 7 Branches of the Land Registration Office were previously established, including:
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 32 in charge of the area of 3 commune-level administrative units: Ba Ria ward, Long Huong ward, Tam Long ward.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 33 in charge of the area of 4 commune-level administrative units: Dat Do commune, Long Hai commune, Long Dien commune, Phuoc Hai commune.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 34 in charge of the area of 5 commune-level administrative units: Phu My ward, Tan Thanh ward, Tan Phuoc ward, Tan Hai ward and Chau Pha commune.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 35 in charge of the area of 6 commune-level administrative units: Ho Tram commune, Xuyen Moc commune, Hoa Hoi commune, Bau Lam commune, Hoa Hiep commune, Binh Chau commune.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 36 in charge of the area of 6 commune-level administrative units: Ngai Giao commune, Binh Gia commune, Kim Long commune, Chau Duc commune, Xuan Son commune, Nghia Thanh commune.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 37 in charge of the area of 5 commune-level administrative units: Vung Tau ward, Tam Thang ward, Rach Dua ward, Phuoc Thang ward and Long Son commune.
- Branch of Land Registration Office No. 38 in charge of Con Dao Special Zone.
