On May 17, Long Thanh District Party Secretary Vo Van Phi worked with the Land Acquisition Enforcement Board to implement component project 1 of the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway Project (phase 1).
The Bien Hoa - Vung Tau Expressway project through Long Thanh district is about 28 km long, with a total area of nearly 228 hectares to be reclaimed, and 2,786 cases of land acquisition. Up to now, the district has cleared more than 99%.
On May 16, the authorities enforced the land recovery of a household in Long Duc commune.

It is expected that on May 18, the Land Acquisition Enforcement Board will coordinate with the People's Committees at the commune level to continue to mobilize and persuade households. If the people agree to hand over the site, there will be no enforcement, and at the same time, forces will be sent to support the people to demolish their houses and relocate their assets.
In case the people do not agree, the district will enforce according to the issued plan.

According to the draft plan for compulsory land recovery, on May 20, the Land recovery enforcement Board will carry out enforcement against 12 households in Long Duc commune.
These are cases where the district has organized propaganda and mobilization many times but did not comply with the policy and did not agree to hand over the site to the state.
