Lack of ideas to stop the downward spiral
Both attacking and defending, Chelsea were very weak in Liam Rosenior's final stage. Since 1912, they have only lost 5 consecutive matches in the national championship and have not scored a single goal.
One of the reasons for the defeat to Brighton, Rosenior's last match, was the personnel shortage. Trevoh Chalobah has only returned after 1 month of absence, while Reece James has not yet been able to play. Cole Palmer, Joao Pedro and Estevao were all absent in the defeat to Brighton.
As for the attack, things are even worse. Liam Delap has not scored in 21 consecutive matches in all competitions. Meanwhile, Alejandro Garnacho has not scored against Premier League teams since his double against Arsenal in the League Cup in January.

Chelsea only has an average shot on target rate of 17.2% in the last 5 matches in the Premier League, in contrast to the average rate of 32.5% from the beginning of the season to now.
This reflects the poor performance of the players, but Rosenior did not come up with any convincing solutions. He may not always have the strongest attacking squad available, but did not do anything in the match against Brighton when choosing a system that was not suitable and not familiar to the strikers in hand. This caused Delap and Enzo Fernandez to continuously chase the ball for most of the first half.
Team with lack of energy and motivation
Signs of fatigue enveloped all Chelsea players at Amex Stadium in the 0-3 defeat to Brighton. With the injury list too long, personnel rotation is no longer guaranteed as Rosenior expected at the beginning of taking over the team.
The English coach's request for the players to press more has made a squad that has to work too hard feel overwhelmed. During the FIFA Days, most Chelsea players have to perform their duties with the national team, so the physical condition is always very alarming.
Liam Rosenior may criticize the perfunctory attitude of his players after the defeat to Brighton, but he cannot change the fact that everyone is too tired.

Too much pressure from social networks and media
Since Liam Rosenior came to Stamford Bridge, there has been no week that he has not been taken for a joke on social media. Perhaps because he is too young and often makes statements that are not as humble as his older colleagues, Rosenior is very easily criticized.
Remember in the match against Everton, a video spread on social networks that the 41-year-old coach had an act of "pretending to direct" after seeing his face displayed on the large screen at the stadium. There is no evidence to verify that, but from such events, it can be seen that Rosenior is the focus of satire.
Or like the match against PSG, Rosenior gave Alejandro Garnacho a piece of paper. Because in that match Chelsea lost with a total score of 2-8, he was ridiculed a lot. Social networks said Rosenior did something meaningless because Chelsea would lose anyway. In fact, this young coach only wanted Garnacho to ask Caicedo to switch to the right-back position to suit the team having to finish the match with 10 men after Chalobah's injury.
Whether more or less, such times also made Rosenior's psychology too unstable.
Relationships deteriorate with fans because of employers
Even before Rosenior set foot in Cobham, he lost the trust of some fans due to his close relationship with the owner of BlueCo.
Rosenior's existing relationship with Chelsea owners and Sporting Directors, along with his understanding of how to work in BlueCo's structure, was an advantage for Chelsea's leadership when recruiting. However, for the group of fans who disagreed with the club's direction under Todd Boehly's management (multi-club model, prioritizing young and potential players over experience), Rosenior's connection with the leadership was a minus point.

This strong protest is evident in the increasing number of songs protesting BlueCo in the stands. It peaked on Saturday before the defeat to Manchester United with a large-scale protest outside Stamford Bridge.
When Rosenior sat in the stands with Behdad Eghbali at Craven Cottage in January, before taking over as coach, perhaps he realized it from the cheers of the visiting team's fans that Chelsea fans could become hostile, there was a part of the fans who were angry with Eghbali and Todd Boehly.
