After the semi-finals of the 2025 Southeast Asian U23 Championship, the final and third-place matches have been determined.
U23 Vietnam will meet U23 Indonesia in the final, while the two losing teams in the semi-finals, U23 Thailand and U23 Philippines, will compete for 3rd place.
According to the match schedule, U23 Thailand will meet U23 Philippines at 20:00 on July 28.
The final match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will take place at 20:00 on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
Both matches were broadcast live on FPT Play.
According to FPT Play - the owner of the broadcasting rights for the 2025 U23 Southeast Asian tournament, the tournament organizers announced that the match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will use VAR technology.
In response to this information, striker Dinh Bac said: VAR will help the match be fairer for both teams, especially with the importance of the final. We will try our best to show our best form to win.
This is the third consecutive time U23 Vietnam has participated in the final match of the Southeast Asian U23 tournament, after being crowned twice in 2022 and 2023.
