On the afternoon of July 26, the U23 Vietnam team had a light training session in the gym at a hotel in Jakarta (Indonesia). This is an activity to help the players quickly regain their physical strength after the tense semi-final match with U23 Philippines.
Previously, in the morning of the same day, the whole team was given a full break by coach Kim Sang-sik to relax.

In the afternoon, fitness expert Cedric Roger coordinated with the coaching staff to organize recovery exercises indoors. The main players mainly practice stretching, while the reserve group performs strength and muscle-strengthening exercises.
The positive thing is that U23 Vietnam has not suffered any personnel losses. The Quoc Viet striker showed signs of mild pain after the collision in the semi-final, but did not affect his ability to play in the final.

According to the plan, on July 27, coach Kim Sang-sik and his students will return to the training ground to complete tactical options, preparing for the most important match of the tournament.
The final match between U23 Vietnam and U23 Indonesia will take place at 8:00 p.m. on July 29 at Gelora Bung Karno Stadium.
This is the third consecutive time U23 Vietnam has participated in the championship match in the regional tournament. With the last two championships, the "Golden Star Warriors" are aiming to successfully defend the Southeast Asian throne.
