Crystal Palace will hope their midweek Carabao Cup win over QPR (2-1) will boost their confidence after a disappointing start to the Premier League.
The Eagles have failed to win their opening four Premier League games of the season (D2 L2) for the first time since Frank de Boer took charge in 2017-18.
More surprisingly when they ended last season with a series of 7 unbeaten matches in the Premier League (winning 6, draw 1).
The standout result in that run was a 4-0 win over Manchester United at Selhurst Park. It was also a remarkable turnaround in the history of the fixture, with the pair failing to win 12 consecutive home games in all competitions (D3 L9) between 1991 and 2020.
Palace are currently unbeaten in their last four home meetings (W2 D2), conceding just one goal in that run.
Perhaps things are changing for Man United, scoring 10 goals without conceding in their last two games - 3-0 against Southampton in the EPL and 7-0 against Barnsley in the Carabao Cup.
It was their biggest win under Erik ten Hag, who described it as "the perfect night".
Given the quality of the opposition on the night, sceptics may not be so quick to get carried away with such results, especially as the Red Devils have won just two of their last eight away games in the Premier League (D2 L4).
Man United have also had a difficult time travelling to London, winning just two of their last 16 games (D4 L10) - both of those wins coming against Fulham.
