Overview
After the first two rounds of Serie A, Parma has not yet won any points and has not scored. The Emilia team lost to Cagliari at home in the opening round, before causing no small difficulties for Juventus in Turin but in the end still empty-handed.
Only 5 shots on target after 2 matches partly show Parma's problem in attack. Goal scoring ability was already their weakness last season, while key striker Mateo Pellegrino moved to Fiorentina in the summer.
Parma's only victory since the beginning of the season came in the Coppa Italia. They defeated Catania 2-0 thanks to a double from young striker Simone Lontani.

Personnel situation
Before the important match in Serie A against Monza, Cuesta may adjust a few positions in the Parma squad that once held Juventus for more than an hour of play.
Newcomer Dominik Drobnic had an impressive debut in Turin and is likely to continue playing as a starter. David Romero also left his mark after coming on as a substitute. This striker will compete for a starting spot with Simone Lontani, El Bilal Toure, Matija Frigan and Nesta Elphege.
Parma will not have Hans Nicolussi Caviglia because this midfielder suffered a groin injury.
Cremonese also faces many personnel issues. Tommaso Barbieri, Federico Baschirotto and Danish striker David Stuckler have not yet ensured fitness. Morten Thorsby is waiting to complete the transfer, while Michele Collocolo continues to treat muscle injuries.
Manuel De Luca and Federico Bonazzoli paired up in attack in the defeat to Modena. However, with Cremonese's poor attacking efficiency, Giampaolo is likely to shuffle personnel.
