Inter Milan confirmed that coach Simone Inzaghi had left the club after a 0-5 defeat to Paris St Germain in the Champions League final.
"It's time for me to say goodbye to this club after 4 years of dedication," Inzaghi wrote in a letter to Inter fans on the club's website.
Saudi Pro League club Al-Hilal is said to be trying to lure Inzaghi with an offer worth more than 20 million Euros per season.
Inzaghi led Inter to the Serie A title last year. And he was also responsible for the Nerazzurri's loss to Manchester City in the 2023 Champions League final.

Inzaghi has been with Inter for exactly 4 years and still has 1 more season in his contract. It is still unclear who will lead Inter at the FIFA Club World Cup in the US, starting on June 14.
Inter will start their campaign with a match against Monterrey on June 17 - the day before Al-Hilal plays Real Madrid.
There is much speculation that Inter will chase Cesc Fabregas, who led Como to 10th place in Serie A this season.
Inter is second in Serie A in the 2024-2025 season, 1 point behind champions Napoli.
Inter had a chance to win the treble until they lost to arch-rivals AC Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-finals in April. After being also defeated by Milan in the Italian Super Cup final in Saudi Arabia in January, Inter have not won any titles this season.
The change in coaching at Inter is just one of many similar moves by top Italian teams this summer, with Milan, Roma, Atalanta and many other teams also making changes.
