After nearly 3 months of giving way to U23 Vietnam to compete in SEA Games 33 and the 2026 AFC U23 Championship finals, V.League 2025-2026 will have 2 more final rounds of the first leg before the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026 holiday.
Although the competition ends on February 8th of the solar calendar, the teams will still maintain the training pace until the end of February 13th-14th (ie, February 26th-27th of the lunar calendar).

Most professional players will be "released from camp" by the club from February 15-19 of the Gregorian calendar. It is expected that on February 20 (ie, the 4th day of the Binh Ngo Tet), the teams will gather again to train troops, towards the second leg of the V.League as well as matches of the National Cup.
A Da Nang player shared: "This Tet I will go to the South to celebrate Tet with my family. Compared to some teammates, I have to travel quite far, but the rest time is enough for me to visit my family and celebrate the New Year together before returning to the team.
The case of Hanoi Police Club is different from the remaining 13 V.League teams. The police industry team will not play in the 13th round of V.League 2025-2026 this weekend. Instead, coach Mano Polking's team is given the maximum opportunity to concentrate for the 1/8 round of AFC Champions League Two.
Accordingly, on February 11th (ie, December 24th of the lunar calendar), Hanoi Police Club will play the first leg against Tampines Rovers (Singapore) at Hang Day Stadium. After that, Quang Hai and his teammates immediately move to Singapore to prepare for the second leg against the opponent on February 18th (ie, the 2nd day of the Binh Ngo Tet).

The subsequent pace with Hanoi Police is similar to teams in the V.League. Coach Polking's team continues to compete at high intensity in the domestic league since the Lunar New Year holiday.
According to research, Hanoi Police Club plans to allow players to return to their families for 1-2 days before the Lunar New Year, before focusing all their efforts on the continental front as well as the plan afterwards.
For players like Quang Hai, Dinh Trong or Bui Hoang Viet Anh, this is not the first time they have to be away from home during the Lunar New Year. When they played for Hanoi Club, these faces had to play throughout Tet when the continental tournament took place.
Meanwhile, many young faces such as Dinh Bac, Ly Duc, Minh Phuc... will have the opportunity to spend their first Tet away from their families, welcoming the New Year in another country.
