The program "EA Sports FC Futures - Finding and developing global football talent" aims to find young football talent, awarding scholarships to train at the La Liga Football Training Center (Spain).
Accordingly, the program will select 1,000 young players from 5 countries including South Africa, the United States, Guatemala, UAE, and Vietnam to find 40 outstanding young players.
U16 players will have the opportunity to experience training according to the advanced training methods of La Liga and EA Sports in Madrid (Spain) in June 2025.
La Liga CEO Jorge de la Vega said: "This is an opportunity for La Liga to reach thousands of children, train them and continue to help them enjoy their passion for football. Ea Sports FC Futures is especially important for us, contributing to building the foundation of future football from today".
According to the plan, the tournament "Ea Sports FC Futures" will take place in Rustenberg (South Africa) on 1-2.000; in New York (USA) on 8-9.3; in Dubai (UAE) on 27-28; in Guatemala City ( Gu Gu Gu sinceala) on 5-6.4 and in Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) on 11-13.24.2025.
In Vietnam, the Next Gen Draft U16 tournament will take place at Gia Dinh Stadium, Ho Chi Minh City. The tournament is organized by La Liga Vietnam with the participation of experts from La Liga Spain.
The tournament organizing committee will select more than 200 male and female players, divided into 16 men's teams and 16 women's teams (each team will have 5 players, reserve 2). The teams competed in a round robin to find the winning team. La Liga experts will select the 32 best players (16 men's, 16 women's) for the final round and find the 4 male players and the last 4 female players to award scholarships to train in Madrid, Spain.
