In recent years, Vietnamese women's football has made great strides. The National U19 Women's Football Championship is considered a premise to develop talents for the national team.
This year, the tournament continues to be sponsored by Acecook Vietnam Joint Stock Company.
On behalf of VFF, General Secretary Nguyen Van Phu expressed his joy that after many years of being associated with Vietnamese football in general and the national team in particular, Acecook Vietnam has decided to continue accompanying the National U19 Women's Football Championship as the main sponsor for the second year.
"With the efforts of VFF in organizing and the support of sponsors, it will be a source of motivation for the competing teams to contribute exciting matches, contributing to creating a successful tournament," Mr. Nguyen Van Phu emphasized.
The sponsor representative said that this unit hopes to join hands with VFF to help young female players train and show their talents in the best conditions, while encouraging and supporting women in the field of sports.
From there, contribute to nurturing the future generation of young players of Vietnamese football in the most comprehensive way, towards the sustainable development of the country's football.
The National U19 Women's Football Championship has 6 teams participating in a round-robin tournament of 2 matches (first leg and second leg). The teams will compete to calculate the final ranking points, with the rule: win gets 3 points, draw 1 point, and lose 0 points.
The team with the highest total points after all matches will be ranked first and win the tournament championship.
The tournament will take place from February 9 to March 11 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center (first leg) and Ha Nam Stadium (second leg).
According to the draw results, on the opening day at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center, the following matches will take place: Hanoi - Vietnam Coal and Minerals, Ho Chi Minh City - Thai Nguyen T&T, Vinh Phuc - Phong Phu Ha Nam.
