After the home team's loss, coach Makoto Teguramori shared: "We played away but in fact this match was also at home in Hang Day. The team determined the difficulties and the results were really sad. Hanoi FC, after falling behind by 2 goals, has left many gaps.
There are many reasons for our poor start to the season. A week ago, the team had only enough strength, so the squad was not yet matched.

On the side of Hanoi Police, coach Polking said: "We started the match well and caught up quickly. The first half controlled the ball and had many opportunities to shoot, creating an overwhelming game. However, in the final minutes of the second half, there was a slight decline, so the opponent overwhelmed them.
However, I highly appreciate the players' performance, fighting spirit and good tactical compliance. I think this is the match in which Hanoi Police have achieved their highest form in recent times. We still have to focus on fighting for the rest of the season."
Evaluating the defense when conceding 2 goals, Mr. Polking said: "The whole team played well in the first 80 minutes but the last 10 minutes were quite unstable, not highly focused. Regarding overseas Vietnamese player Brandon Ly when he first played in the V.League, the German coach said: "He just came to the club and we created the best training conditions. Based on the training results and the integration process, I created an opportunity for Brandon Ly to enter the field.
Of course, his first time in the V.League was not easy, he needed time to integrate and get into the rhythm. His training process was hard, determined and I appreciate that.
Do not be too hasty with young players like Brandon Ly when they have only been in the team for 1-2 months. The most important thing is progress and I will definitely create opportunities.
