The Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium project has a total investment of 535 billion VND, starting construction at the end of 2022. After more than 2 years of construction, the project has basically completed the main items such as the soccer field, pitch road, grass surface, and access road to the stadium.
At the construction site, workers are constructing the stands, roofs, painting railings, installing electricity and water systems, and fire prevention and fighting.
According to the Thai Nguyen Civil and Industrial Construction Investment Project Management Board (the investor), some main packages of the project have been completed. There are still some packages such as the adjusted roof, which are being urgently constructed. The stadium is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2025, ahead of schedule.
When completed, this will be the largest stadium in the northern midland provinces with a capacity of 22,000 seats. With a grand scale, the stadium will be the venue for major sporting events in Thai Nguyen as well as the whole country.
In Ha Giang province, the stadium project with a capacity of 10,000 seats is also being urgently constructed. The soccer field is located in a sports and cultural complex project with a value of more than 340 billion VND.
According to the Ha Giang Province Construction Investment Project Management Board, the construction progress has reached more than 80%. Disbursed 256 billion VND, reaching more than 94% of allocated capital. Currently, contractors are mobilizing human resources and machinery for construction, striving to complete by the end of 2025. This is one of the key projects of Ha Giang to welcome the Party Congresses at all levels.
At the Bac Kan province stadium project, hundreds of workers and machinery are being mobilized for construction. The project has a total investment of 252 billion VND, on a campus of 20 hectares.
The stadium has a capacity of about 8,000 seats and can be increased to 15,000 seats in the next phase.
According to the report from the construction unit, the project has a total of 3 construction packages. Packages 17 and 21 have all reached over 80% of the construction volume. Package No. 26 is completing the tent and producing experimental forced-use deposits according to the documents.
The Bac Kan Provincial Stadium is expected to be completed in 2025. This will be the place to organize sports tournaments and major events of the province and the region, contributing to making Bac Kan City a type II urban area in the future.
