On the morning of August 3, referees and assistant referees participating in the training program before the 2025-2026 season took a physical test according to FIFA standards, a mandatory condition for being assigned to work in national professional tournaments.
To ensure the best physical condition for the referees, the Organizing Committee agreed to organize check-ups in the morning, avoiding the time of severe heat. At the same time, medical work was carefully arranged with 4 ambulances and 4 medical teams on duty to promptly handle any arising situations.
All participating referees must submit a health certificate in accordance with the provisions of Circular 32/2023/TT-BYT to be eligible for the exam.
Of the 62 referees and assistant referees participating, 55 passed physical tests, reaching a rate of 88.7%.
However, an referee had a health problem during the test. The medical team immediately performed first aid and transferred the person to the hospital for further treatment. Representatives of VFF, VPF and the Referee Board were present at the hospital to coordinate and closely monitor the situation.
After the physical test, the referees continued the training program with professional content such as updating the new season's Charter, reviewing the theory of VAR technology - a tool that will be widely used in V.League 2025-2026, and analyzing practical situations to improve handling skills on the field.
