If in the 2023-2024 season, VAR was applied in 3-4 matches/round (a total of 7 matches), then entering the new 2024-2025 season, VAR has been widely applied in the 3 regions of the North, Central and South with at least 6 matches per round having VAR, many rounds 7/7 matches all applied VAR.
The roadmap set by the tournament organizers has been achieved when the number of VAR vehicles meeting FIFA standards is 4 vehicles (2 vehicles from the North, 1 vehicle from the Central Highlands, 1 vehicle from the South). With VAR, the controversy over referee decisions has decreased, professional quality has increased, creating trust for participating clubs and fans nationwide.
