ASEAN Hyundai Cup 2026 will take place from July 24 to August 26 with the participation of 10 teams including Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Philippines, Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar and Timor-Leste. The tournament continues to be organized in a group stage, semi-final and final format, gathering strong teams of Southeast Asian football.
The Vietnamese team will begin their journey to defend the championship with a match against Timor Leste at 8:30 PM on July 24th at Chonburi Stadium (Thailand). After that, coach Kim Sang-sik's team will successively face Singapore on July 31st, Indonesia on August 3rd and Cambodia on August 7th to complete the group stage.
The opening ceremony of the tournament takes place at 7 pm on July 24 at Morodok Techo Stadium (Phnom Penh, Cambodia), before the match between host Cambodia and Singapore. This is one of the most anticipated tournaments of regional football when it gathers many championship candidates such as Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia or Malaysia.
