Thien Khoi FC wins the 2025 National 7-a-side Football Tournament

On the afternoon of July 27, the final match between Thien Khoi FC and XSKT Dak Lak took place with an exciting and fierce attack. However, neither side successfully took advantage of the opportunity in the 70 minutes of official play, forced to go into extra time to determine the winner.

turning the game around in the 3rd minute of the first extra time, Duong Van Khoi jumped high to head the ball beautifully, scoring the only goal to bring home a valuable victory to help Thien Khoi FC win the VPL championship for the first time.

Before that, the third-place match between MyMy and Dien Bach Khoa Ninh Thuan ended with a 3-1 victory for MyMy. Although unable to win a medal, coach Nguyen Tuan Phong's team still left many impressions with enthusiastic playing style and fiery competitive spirit.

VPL-S6 is the 6th season of the national 7-a-side football championship system. This year, the tournament will be held simultaneously in 8 regions nationwide including: Northern region (Ha Noi); Southern region (HCMC); Central Highlands region (Gia Lai); Western region (Can Tho); Northeast region (Hai Phong); North Central region (Thanh Hoa); Central region (Da Nang) and South Central region (Khanh Hoa).

The 12 best teams from different regions gathered in Hanoi to compete in the Final Round from July 19 to July 27, 2025.

In the near future, on August 3, a special friendly match will take place between the 7-a-side football star team from VPL-S6 and the Vietnam football stars team.

This historic showmatch will be the highlight of the end of VPL-S6's exciting season.
