At the conference summarizing the work in 2025, term 2021 - 2025 and deploying key tasks in 2026 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism held on the afternoon of December 27, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh highly appreciated the efforts of Vietnamese sports in 2025, especially the beautiful image of U22 Vietnam and the Vietnamese women's team at SEA Games 33.

In 2025, Vietnamese sports won 2,253 medals. According to the Prime Minister, focused and key investment in some key sports towards the Olympics and ASIAD has brought emotional victories, creating a strong impression.
Regarding the women's football final at SEA Games 33, the Prime Minister said that although they did not win, the Vietnamese women's team still left a beautiful image. He emphasized that the players played with a fighting spirit from the first minutes to the penalty shootout. This is a noble human value of Vietnam.

Speaking about the men's football final, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh said that he directly conveyed words of encouragement to the U22 Vietnam team during the half-time break, when the team was being led 2-0 by U22 Thailand.
The Prime Minister said: "I told Chairman of the Vietnam Football Federation Tran Quoc Tuan that players must be encouraged not to give up, must regain their spirit, show their bravery and Vietnamese spirit, and not play disjointedly. In the end, the whole team played very emotionally.

This is also the second time in 2025 that Vietnamese football has created a comeback to be crowned right in Thailand. Previously, in January 2025, the Vietnamese team defeated Thailand with a score of 3-2 in the ASEAN Cup final to return to the throne of Southeast Asia.
Recalling that memory, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh shared: "I still remember the moment the ball slowly rolled into the Thai net, the two Thai defenders could only chase after it, looking at the ball into the net, very touched, showing sportsmanship.
From those achievements, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh assessed that the culture, sports and tourism sectors have clearly shown their pioneering role, leaving a mark not only in music and art with creative thinking, but also in sports with a noble spirit, thereby affirming the bravery and value of Vietnamese people.
Previously, after the victories of the Vietnamese football teams, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh sent congratulatory letters and encouraged the spirit of the coaching staff and players.
It's a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit of a bit.
