Creating a culture of lifelong learning in the enterprise

Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. is one of 10 enterprises honored by the Hanoi City Labor Federation as a typical enterprise for workers in 2024.

As of September 2024, the company has a total of 4,100 employees, with an average income of 11 million VND/person/month. Union members and employees of the company always determine to stay with the company for a long time because the company's leadership and the company's union always care for, look after, and support them.

To improve the qualifications and capacity of employees, the company has built a policy to create a culture of "Lifelong learning with YAMAHA". It is worth mentioning that the training methods are very diverse, creating opportunities for employees to learn anytime, anywhere. Training is carried out right during the working process; organizing training classes; online training; orientation training.

Along with that diversity, the company also has a talent development policy. With this policy, the company not only creates opportunities to early detect, nurture and develop people with special abilities but also helps retain talents in the business. Also through this policy, the company recognizes the development of employees' abilities and motivates each of them to strive, contribute more, and be more effective.

In addition, the company also implements many welfare regimes in cash. One of them is the year-end bonus of 2 to 3 months' salary, an average bonus of 2 million VND/person for excellent employees, a 3.5% sales bonus... To support and also to recognize the contributions and accompany employees, the company implements 7 regular allowances, including housing and travel allowances and 15 job-specific allowances such as work allowances, away-from-home training allowances, foreign language allowances... Employees also enjoy 17 additional welfare regimes that are not paid in cash.

At the end of August, the Executive Board of the Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. Trade Union coordinated with the company's Board of Directors to organize a "Trade Union Meal" for employees to express gratitude and thank the employees for their efforts and hard work in production to help the company develop more and more sustainably, contributing to the growth of the Trade Union organization. With a large number of employees, the company's "Trade Union Meal" is organized in many shifts from 10am to 1pm, with diverse and rich meals with many dishes, ensuring quantity, quality and nutrition for all union members and employees. Each meal is more special and much more valuable than normal meals, worth 80,000 VND/meal (an increase of 50,000 VND/meal compared to normal meals).

Another good way here is that the Board of Directors of Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. always promotes the connection between the Union to create conditions in terms of time and support more funding to organize internal emulation movements, organize many cultural and artistic activities, physical education and sports to help employees have high working spirit, helping to increase labor productivity.
