Directly visiting and encouraging union members and workers at the health check-up, Mr. Le An Hai - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union said that this is not only a practical activity, meaningful in caring for the material and spiritual lives of workers, but also clearly demonstrates the role and responsibility of the Trade Union organization in accompanying workers, for the sustainable development of businesses and the Industry and Trade sector.

The health of workers is the most precious asset, not only of each individual and family but also an important resource that determines labor productivity, production quality and business stability. In the context of increasing work pressure, the working environment has many potential risk factors, organizing periodic health check-ups, consultations and screenings is becoming increasingly urgent.

Through the free health check program, the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade wishes to help union members and workers access quality medical services, detect early disease risks, and thereby have appropriate health adjustment and care measures. At the same time, this is also an opportunity to raise awareness about proactively protecting personal health - a key factor for workers to feel secure in working and long-term attachment to the business.

According to the leader of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, the program is also a vivid proof of the operating motto of the Trade Union organization: Always focusing on grassroots levels, taking union members and workers as the center of all activities. In this year's Workers' Month, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union will continue to implement more practical activities, focusing on caring for the welfare and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights of workers.

On this occasion, Mr. Le An Hai thanked the coordination and support of medical facilities and medical staff for accompanying the Trade Union organization in taking care of workers' health. At the same time, he hoped that each union member and worker would actively participate and proactively monitor their health status, thereby building a healthy lifestyle and improving the quality of life.
