On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27,47 - July 27, 2025), in Quynh Luu and Phu Long communes (Ninh Binh province), Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh acknowledged and praised Ninh Binh province for effectively implementing the work of gratitude, mobilizing many resources to care for the material and spiritual life of people with meritorious services.
The Vice Chairman of the National Assembly emphasized that the Resolution of the 13th National Assembly and related documents have clearly identified "Good implementation of preferential policies for meritorious people; promoting gratitude activities; ensuring the lives of meritorious people in accordance with economic growth and social justice".
In addition, it is recommended that Ninh Binh province continue to thoroughly grasp resolutions, directives and regulations related to meritorious people; ensure a standard of living of at least average for meritorious people and their families; coordinate the search, gathering, and identification of martyrs' remains; mobilize social resources to carry out the "repayment of gratitude" movement; strengthen the education of patriotic traditions for the younger generation; spread the spirit of gratitude and responsibility.
Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh hopes that war invalids, sick soldiers, and families of meritorious people will continue to promote revolutionary traditions, actively develop the economy, build cultural families, contribute to building new rural areas, civilized urban areas, and effectively implement the two-level local government model.
On this occasion, Vice Chairwoman of the National Assembly Nguyen Thi Thanh presented 216 gifts to policy families and meritorious people in Quynh Luu commune and 200 gifts in Phu Long commune; 100 gifts to the Ninh Binh Provincial Youth Volunteer Association.
