According to Mr. Le An Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the VGCL, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, implementing Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW, dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on "Innovating the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation", in the period 2021-2025, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union has actively promoted propaganda and education to raise awareness, political bravery, class awareness, national pride and self-esteem among union members and workers.
Accordingly, the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union strengthens the provision of news, articles, and reports on the electronic information portal of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union, and press agencies inside and outside the industry.
Trade union levels have been creative and applied information technology in propaganda and mobilization work, improving the effectiveness of trade union activities.
Propaganda content is rich, diverse and closely follows reality such as disseminating about the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws; issues related to workers and trade union organizations; about studying to improve qualifications, professional skills, and industrial style.
From 2021-2025, 287,185 turns of union members and workers have been trained to improve their qualifications and professional skills.
The Vietnam Trade and Industry Union has also deployed propaganda and dissemination of Resolution No. 02-NQ/TW dated June 12, 2021 of the Politburo on innovating the organization and operation of the Vietnam Trade Union in the new situation to trade unions at all levels in the Sector.
In addition, the industry union has compiled and issued over 100,000 propaganda documents on the Labor Law, Social Insurance Law, Trade Union Law... ; compiled and issued over 10,000 Handbooks "Some basic contents workers need to know about the 2019 Labor Code" to union members and workers.
Trade union levels in the Industry and Trade sector always encourage and mobilize employees to actively participate in self-study, improve their political, cultural, professional, and vocational skills, awareness of law compliance, internal regulations, and rules of agencies and units; at the same time, propagate and mobilize employers to create conditions for employees to participate in studying and improving their professional qualifications.
The work of building a spiritual and cultural life for union members and workers is focused on by the Vietnam National Union of Industry and Trade.
On the occasion of Workers' Month and the anniversary of major holidays, the entire industry has organized nearly 80 mass art performances and expanded sports festivals to exchange, create a joyful, exciting atmosphere and strengthen the spirit of solidarity between agencies, units and businesses; participate in the program "9th Hour +" on VTV3 Vietnam Television.
In addition, the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union also actively mobilizes workers to self-study, improve their political, cultural, professional, and vocational skills, awareness of law compliance, internal regulations, and rules of agencies and units; and at the same time propagate and mobilize employers to create conditions for employees to participate in studying and improving their qualifications.
