Attending the Congress were Comrade Le An Hai - Member of the Standing Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, Chairman of the Vietnam Trade and Industry Union; Comrade Ta Dang Tinh - Chairman of the Board of Directors of VKC Group Joint Stock Company; 70 delegates representing 164 workers in the VKC Group ecosystem.
At the Congress, Comrade Ha Thi Mai Anh - Head of the Steering Committee for establishing grassroots trade unions gave a general report on the process of mobilizing the establishment of grassroots trade unions.
Accordingly, VKC Group Joint Stock Company was established in 2017, specializing in providing design, consulting and construction services to foreign investors in Vietnam. To date, the enterprise's ecosystem has attracted 164 workers with an average income of over 15,000 VND/person/month.
In addition to ensuring a good income level for workers, all policies and regimes such as social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance are fully implemented by enterprises in accordance with State regulations; labor safety, fire and explosion prevention, and occupational hygiene at all construction sites and offices are always given top priority.
Stemming from the legitimate needs and aspirations of the collective of workers, the establishment of grassroots trade unions directly under the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade is an important milestone in helping to care for and protect legitimate rights, while building harmonious, equal and progressive labor relations at enterprises" - Comrade Ha Thi Mai Anh expressed.
Speaking to direct at the Congress, Chairman of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union Le An Hai warmly congratulated the grassroots Trade Union of VKC Group Joint Stock Company for officially joining the common roof of the Vietnam Industry and Trade Union. At the same time, he affirmed that the upper-level Trade Union will always accompany, support professional skills training and bring practical union member welfare programs to workers.
To soon stabilize operations, Comrade Le An Hai requested the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to urgently issue operating regulations, closely coordinate with the Board of Directors to promote the emulation movement for good labor, improve productivity, and at the same time closely supervise occupational safety and health at construction sites.
With the spirit of working urgently, democratically and responsibly, the Congress selected and elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union of VKC Group Joint Stock Company, term I, 2026 - 2030, including 5 comrades; Comrade Ha Thi Mai Anh was trusted to be elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Trade Union of VKC Group Joint Stock Company.
