At the meeting, Ms. Thai Thu Xuong - Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor - emphasized that propaganda, political, ideological and legal education among workers plays a very important role, contributing to preventing violations of the law, raising awareness of citizen responsibility and building a team of workers ready to contribute to the development of the country.
According to Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha - Permanent Vice President of Petrovietnam Trade Union, Petrovietnam Trade Union always closely follows the Party's Resolution, the Group's development strategy and instructions and guidance from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor to develop a suitable action program.
Propaganda activities are integrated in many diverse forms such as training, dialogue, political and ideological activities, Oil and Gas Culture Week, Family Festival... associated with major policies such as Resolution No. 02, Resolution 41, Conclusion 76 of the Politburo, Oil and Gas Law, Law on Grassroots Democracy Implementation and new legal policies. Online research competitions held periodically are effective and economical methods of propaganda, with high influence throughout the industry.
From reality, Mr. Nguyen Manh Kha proposed that the General Confederation continue to effectively implement Resolution 20-NQ/TW on building the working class in the period of industrialization and modernization of the country; at the same time, promote topics on patriotic education and revolutionary ideals, thereby affirming the historical mission of the working class to the Party, State and nation.
In addition, it is necessary to direct and assign specific targets on political and ideological propaganda work in the entire trade union system; increase the organization of online propaganda competitions at the General Confederation level; focus on training reporters and propagandists with practical knowledge to contribute to improving the effectiveness of political and legal education among the current workforce.
To meet the requirements of the new era, Permanent Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong suggested that Petrovietnam Trade Union continue to take the lead in innovating propaganda methods, combining traditional and modern methods; increase training of staff on digital communication skills, behavior on social networks; closely coordinate between the trade union organization and the Group's professional agencies in implementing political and ideological education activities at the grassroots level. Along with that, it is necessary to promote streamlining the apparatus, maintaining internal solidarity, proactively fighting against distorted arguments, against the Party, State and Trade Union organizations.
