According to information from the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor, the 2025 Workers' Month in the province is being implemented synchronously and effectively, under the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee and the active coordination of the Steering Committee for the Labor Safety and Hygiene Month. The activities during the month took place enthusiastically and practically, focusing on caring for and protecting the legitimate and legal rights of union members and workers.
At the launching ceremony of Workers' Month and Labor Safety and Hygiene Month in 2025, the Soc Trang Provincial Federation of Labor honored and awarded 93 Certificates of Merit from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to workers directly involved in production with outstanding achievements in the "Good workers, creative workers" movement in the period of 2023-2024.
100 gifts have been presented to union members and employees in difficult circumstances at enterprises, with a total value of 70 million VND. In addition, 50 scholarships, worth 50 million VND, were awarded to children of union members and workers who are ethnic minorities in difficult circumstances.

Immediately after the ceremony, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee visited and presented gifts to 10 union members suffering from serious illnesses, occupational diseases, and work-related accidents at Tuntex Soc Trang Vietnam Co., Ltd. Each gift is worth 1 million VND, with a total cost of 10 million VND.

As part of a series of activities to care for female workers, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Federation of Labor organized a thematic activity and examined the reproductive health of female union members and workers. Thereby, 270 female workers participated in free consultation and health check-ups.
During Workers' Month, there were 11 dialogues at the workplace to promptly resolve issues related to workers' rights. At the same time, organize 3 collective bargaining sessions to reach an agreement to amend and sign 3 new Collective Labor Agreements to ensure compliance with the law and be more beneficial to employees.
A notable highlight is the widespread implementation of the "Union Meal" program. 115 grassroots trade unions have been organized with the participation of 8,778 union members, with a total implementation cost of nearly 460 million VND. Through the program, the two enterprises have supported 66 more gifts, with a total value of more than 16 million VND for union members. In addition, 498 union members in difficult circumstances, suffering from serious illnesses, and work-related accidents were also visited and supported with a total amount of more than 331 million VND.

Trade unions at all levels in the province also implemented many practical activities to organize cultural - artistic, physical education - sports activities, free car parking... attracting over 9,600 union members, workers, civil servants and employees to participate.
During Workers' Month, 54 new houses were built, 9 were repaired and 2 cases were supported for natural disasters and fires, with a total cost of 2.88 billion VND. Since the beginning of the year, 89 houses have been supported (76 newly built houses, 11 repaired houses, 2 houses supported for natural disasters), with a total value of more than 4 billion VND. This is a practical result contributing to the effective implementation of the plan to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses launched by the Provincial People's Committee and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Soc Trang province.
